Mark Cotham challenged a Texas law
that made it a crime for voters to carry a
voter’s guide into the voting booth. In the
case of W. Mark Cotham v. Antonio O. Garza,
Jr., in his official capacity, reported at
905 F. Supp. 389 (S.D. Tex. 1995) the Texas
law was declared unconstitutional.

Cook-off team in the World Championship
Barbecue held annually in the Reliant
Stadium/Astrodome prior to the rodeo. In
2000, our team won the Reserve Championship
in ribs and since then the members of our
team have won several awards at local
cook-offs.
Mark Cotham is a founder of Urban Harvest, a
non-profit organization dedicated to the
development of community gardens and
orchards that grow fruits and vegetables
donated to the Houston Food Bank and other
organizations for distribution to the needy.
Mark Cotham has written several papers on
urban gardens and teaches community classes
on growing tomatoes. |
